Scores adds two hidden files to the System Folder: Scores and Desktop (not the same as the normal Desktop file). The virus adds additional INIT resources to the system, then spreads to clean applications each time the system is started. Only applications and system files are infected. Scores can cause system crashes and problems in applications, especially printing problems. The addition of hidden files consumes disk space, and the active virus consumes memory. If your Macintosh is infected, the Note Pad and Scrapbook File icons may be changed.
